Rashtra Pratham Trust in association with Jai Ganesh Vyaspeeth, Serves, Akhil Mohannagar Mitra Mandal, REDIO, Swift Axe Pictures had now come up with a new concept which emphasizes a way to connect the world with India’s biggest festival, Ganesh Festival which we are proud to introduce as “Global Ganesh Festival”

Indian cultural heritage has always attracted the people across the globe. Ganesh Festival is one of the most important and grandeourous festivals of India which has its roots in the  history and culture both.

Each small step makes a difference

A group of like minded people started working with a vision to serve the society and for the betterment of underprevilaged. These enthusiasts of Rashtra Pratham trust worked hard to help each section of society for creating a long term impact for a better future for those who couldn’t find hope. While working for the society Rashtra Pratham trust always worked in different segments like healthcare, employment, disaster management, cultural activities taking a holistic perspective. This work is seen to be making a difference nationwide as well as globally. 

This festival played a vital role in the independence movement of India which was lead by Lokmanya Tilak, Bhausaheb Rangari and many other freedom fighters of India. People gathered together for festival which provided the opportunity for freedom fighters and social reformers to spread the freedom movement to even the commonest of people. In post independence era this festival became the important part of Indian society which helped to shape political, social, cultural aspects of independent India.

People across the globe have always been curious about this festival and started participating in this festival in different possible ways. A few of them visited India specially during this festival,  enjoyed it, a few came during this festival to study about this culture. Our culture has profound thoughts behind every ritual, people across the globe are eager to study this rich culture. Indians who have relocated to different countries also celebrate this festival with zest in the respective countries.

In last seventy years this festival is being celebrated globally but it doesn’t get recognized as a global festival yet. We are envisioning to represent this prestigious festival at global level which is aimed to inform the world about the rich heritage have and make this Ganesh Festival A Global fiesta!

Consistent awareness will help to rank on online media in Global Festivals. Going by it’s historical relevance, It will be the most effective platform to create awareness about global issues like Climate change, Environment,Sustainability etc which will help us in nurturing the planet for the next generations to come.

  • Global Ganesh Festival Helpline

    A dedicated team of experts will work 24×7 to help foreigners while visiting India for Global Ganesh Festival.

  • Vighnaharta Helpline

    Vighnaharta helpline is an initiative which would be under the aegis of Jay Ganesh Vyaspeeth. The intend of creating this helpline is to facilitate emergency services and response to Punekars staying outside India in case of emergency of their old aged parents or family members. This helpline will be a blessing in disguise at critical situations when we are trying to seek help and that moment Ganesh festival volunteers will be there to help!

  • Global Ganesh Festival Tour

    This is a unique concept of engaging foreigners with our rich culture of Ganesh Festival which includes visit to different cities of Maharashtra during festival like Ganesh Festival of Pune, Mumbai, Kokan, North Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbh. Each area of Maharashtra has different rituals of celebration which will help foreigners to explore this festival.

  • International Competitions

    Engagement of Indians in across the globe in this festival is most important part of making it global.  We will conduct a few International Competitions such as Global Ganesh Decoration Competition, Journey films Competitions in which people across the globe can share their journey videos about how their group started Ganesh Festival celebration, their decorations their celebration in other countries.

    In which tourist will participate and share their unique photographs related to Ganesh Festival.
